1983 Jeep Cherokee 12V Cummins

Aces Classic Cars is happy to offer this truly unique 1983 Jeep Cherokee! This truck is one of a kind and is not something that you will see every day out on the road. This Jeep has been outfitted with a 1992 Cummins 12V, before installation of the new engine the engine had some general maintenance done that included a new remanufactured injection pump, new 40 horse Bosh injectors and all new seals and gaskets along the way. The jeep was built to drive so during the restoration the Chrysler 47RH/A618 transmission was fully rebuilt with a towing shift kit as well and finished off with a heavy-duty torque converter. At a switch of a button this jeep is ready to tackle the highway as well, with switch on overdrive! The Body of this jeep was in awesome shape as it was mostly only used to tow a camper down to Florida before being restored, simply the jeep was resprayed an OEM new jeep color, Black Forest Green, and many parts underneath the truck were raptor lined to allow for better durability while driving.
